COVID-19 Policy

ORH continues to monitor COVID-19 trends, CDC and ODH guidance, as well as feedback from our community.  We are currently planning on hosting the event in person, but are prepared to transition the event to be online should that be required.

The event will be hosted in the City of Columbus, as well as taking place on the campus of Ohio State University.  The ORH board of directors is also committed to upholding all health and safety guidelines.

The following measures will be in place –

  • All attendees must provide proof of vaccination OR a recent (test after 9:00AM on March 29) negative COVID19 test result in order to attend

    • Attendees may upload a picture or scan of their vaccine card at registration OR

    • Email a copy of their vaccine card to info@ohiorecoveryhousing.org OR

    • Show a copy of their negative test result dated after 9:00 AM on March 29 at registration

  • All attendees are asked to self-monitor for symptoms of illness.  Any attendee who is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 is asked to not attend in person and will receive a full refund of any registration paid.

  • All attendees will be required to follow City of Columbus as well as Ohio State University guidelines regarding masks.  Currently, these guidelines state that masks are optional.  if this changes prior to the event, we will notify attendees

    • We ask that all attendees be respectful of other attendees.  Some attendees may choose to wear a mask for a variety of personal reasons.  We ask that all of our attendees practice trauma informed principals and respect any requests from other attendees when it comes to physical distancing, handshakes, or mask wearing if you are in close proximity to that person.

  • Lunch will be a box lunch

  • Attendance at the event will be limited to allow for appropriate physical distancing

  • Number of chairs at tables will be reduced to allow for appropriate physical distancing

  • Speakers will be at an appropriate distance from the audience.  Speakers will be permitted to remove masks for accessibility purposes but will remain an appropriate physical distance from others while presenting.

If you have registered for this event and are no longer able to attend due to our change in policy, please email us at info@ohiorecoveryhousing.org by March 15.  We will issue you a full refund.
